KANSAS CITY, Mo.- The Southeastern University women’s soccer team has extended their stay in the national top-five. The Fire remained No. 4 in the latest installment of the NAIA Coaches’ Top 25 Poll.

The Fire have opened up Sun Conference play 3-0, outscoring opponents 21-1 during that stretch.

The poll was voted upon by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conferences, Association of Independent Institutions and Unaffiliated Groups.

The Top 25 is determined by a points system based on how each voter ranks the best teams. A team receives 30 points for each first-place vote, 29 for second-place and so on through the list.

The Fire take on Webber International this afternoon in Babson Park. Match time is set for 2:30 p.m.
