KANSAS CITY, Mo.- The Southeastern University women’s soccer team remained at No. 4 in the latest installment of the NAIA Coaches’ Top 25 Poll. This marks Southeastern’s third-straight week in the No. 4 position of the national rankings.

The Fire were just edged in an NAIA Top-Five battle on the road against Keiser last Wednesday 2-1. SEU bounced back with a 7-0 handling of Florida Memorial on Senior Night this past Monday.

The poll was voted upon by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conferences, Association of Independent Institutions and Unaffiliated Groups.

The Top 25 is determined by a points system based on how each voter ranks the best teams. A team receives 30 points for each first-place vote, 29 for second-place and so on through the list.

Keiser remained the top-ranked team in the national rankings, receiving 13 of the 18 first-place votes.

The Fire are in action this afternoon in Thomasville against Thomas University. Game time is set for 3:00 p.m.
