Taylor Earns Comeback Win over Volleyball

UPLAND, Ind. – Indiana Wesleyan University volleyball was unable to close out Taylor (Ind.) on Friday after wins in the opening two sets. IWU dropped the five set decision despite 18-kill performances by both Ana Collar and Kelly Miller.

 

COLLAR CONTINUES TO PRODUCE

Freshman Ana Collar set a new personal mark with 18 kills in the match. She has double-digit kills in 8 of her first 11 matches at the college level.

 

CLOSE CALLS

Indiana Wesleyan has won at least one set in seven of the nine losses this season. The loss to Taylor is the fourth five set loss on the season and the fifth loss in which Indiana Wesleyan won the first set.

The Wildcats have a quick turnaround with a home match vs. Mount Vernon Nazarene (Ohio) on Saturday. The contest is set for 1 p.m. in Luckey Arena.
