HOT OFF THE PRESS

Frankfort halted its 22-game losing streak with a 53-12 win over Clinton Prairie.

Washington had its 17-game losing streak come to an end with 61-18 victory against Crawford County.

Monrovia ended its 12-game losing skid with a 20-8 decision over Edgewood.

North Vermillion saw its 15-game Wabash River Conference winning streak snapped with a 49-0 loss to South Vermillion.

With the consolidation of Elkhart Memorial and Elkhart Central, Elkhart claimed its first win with a 35-28 decision over Mishawaka,

Harris Nichols drilled a 50-yard field goal as time expired to lift Plainfield to a 37-35 win over Tri-West.

With its 31-0 win over West Noble, Wawasee has posted back-to-back shutouts to open the season since 1975.

Bellmont, Connersville, Fountain Central, Greenfield-Central, Griffith, Lafayette Central Catholic, Maconaquah, North Central (Farmersburg), Rochester, Southport, Traders Point Christian, and Winamac are finally scheduled to open their 2020 campaigns this weekend.
