SEU edged out Truett McConnell 2-1 in its 2019 season opener last weekend. Junior transfer Skylar Funk netted both goals in his first game in a Fire uniform.

Columbia International opens up its season after an 11-10 2018 season.

Grace is 1-1 after earning a 3-0 win over Rochester and falling 3-0 to No. 12 Georgia Gwinnett.

Montreat earned a 1-0 season-opening win over Pikeville.

UVI looks to earn its first win of the season in the SEU Invitational.

PREVIEW

Southeastern is coming off a 4-0 sweep at the Faulkner Invitational. The Fire outscored their opponents in sets won 12-3.

Freed-Hardeman is coming off a 13-10 2018 campaign.

The host-school Life University Running Eagles are 2-2 after a pair of tight five-set losses to William Carey and Webber International.

The Fire defeated the Golden Tigers in three sets last weekend at the Faulkner Invite.

Fisk is looking to get in the win column and win their first set of 2019.
