PREVIEW

After much anticipation, the Southeastern University football team is set to commence the 2019 regular season.

The Fire are coming off a 7-3 2018 campaign in which they were Mid-South Conference Sun Division Regular Season Co-Champions.

Point is looking for its first win of the season after losses to NCAA Division I Kennesaw State (59-0) and No. 13 Lindsey Wilson (34-9).

PREVIEW

After a 1-1 start, the Fire have rattled off back-to-back wins. SEU shut out #15 Grace 5-0 after Grace had scored 15 goals through its first four contests. The Fire then dismantled receiving votes Truett McConnell 6-1 on the road.

Both senior forward Uchenna Kanu and junior forward Aisha Solorzano have four goals and three assists each over their last two matches played.

CIU is off to a perfect 3-0 start, having out-scored opponents 17-1 to open up the season.

The Barons recently got in the win column for the first time in 2019 with a 1-0 win over Ave Maria.

PREVIEW

The Fire look to remain undefeated after earning a thrilling 2-1 double overtime win over Montreat on the road. Graduate forward Jake Van Der Luit scored the game-winner in the second overtime period.

The Tornadoes have been out-scored 14-3 over their last three contests, in which they have gone 0-2-1.

The Barons look to earn their first win of the season, after suffering losses to SCAD (3-2), Georgia Southwestern (2-1), and tying with Ave Maria (4-4).

PREVIEW

After a 10-day hiatus, the Fire return to action and open up play at The Furnace and in Sun Conference play with a showdown against cross-county rival Webber International.

Webber is looking to bounce back from a three-set loss to Reinhardt in its last match.

The Bobcats are 3-5 on the season. However, four of their five losses have come to NAIA-ranked or receiving votes opponents.
