TU Drops Regular Season Finale at Huntington
HUNTINGTON, Ind. – The Taylor men’s soccer team could not crack the scoreboard against the Foresters in Saturday afternoon’s 2-0 defeat at Huntington.
Huntington (9-4-4, 5-2-2 CL) netted an unassisted goal in the 24th minute to take a 1-0 lead over TU, and held that lead until adding a second score in the 90th minute for the 2-0 final tally.
Taylor recorded 14 shots on the day, with six on the goal, compared to HU’s 15 shots and five on goal for the afternoon.
TU (6-7-3, 2-7-1 CL) will return to action on Wednesday at 8:00 pm in the Crosssroads League Tournament Quarterfinals, as the Trojans earned the No. 8 seed and will travel to top-seeded Spring Arbor (15-3, 8-1 CL) to take on the Cougars.
