TU Women’s Soccer Collects Seven NAIA Scholar-Athlete Awards
 KANSAS CITY – The Taylor University women’s soccer team had seven members named Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes, as announced recently by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics.
Lauren Engelkes, Amy Frederickson, Rachel German, Maddi Guillaume, Megan Kammer, Rebekah Schwulst and Bailey Zehr were among the 614 men’s soccer student-athletes from around the nation to be named as 2017 NAIA Scholar-Athletes.
In order to be eligible to be named an NAIA Scholar-Athlete, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade-point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved junior academic status at their current institution. Taylor had seven of its 10 eligible student-athletes receive the honor.

Paul Egenolf, Andrew Johnson, Jeremiah Rader, Gabe Saliba and Drew Sezonov were among the 492 men’s soccer student-athletes from around the nation to be named as 2017 NAIA Scholar-Athletes.
