KANSAS CITY, Mo.—Southeastern University sophomore golfer Ana Uribe was selected to the NAIA Women’s Golf All-America Second Team, voted on by a panel of coaches across the association.
Uribe is ranked 24th in the NAIA according to Golfstat in adjusted scoring average at 77.41. She posted 30 birdies in 24 rounds this season. At the National Championship, the Bogota native finished 28th. She also helped the Fire to a fourth-place finish as a team at The Sun Conference championship by placing 13th.
Earlier this season, Uribe was the medalist at the Webber Fall Classic. She becomes just the second player in program history named All-American.
Southeastern placed 14th at the NAIA National Championship as a team.
