Warren Named to MVC All-Tournament Team

 

Valpo volleyball senior right side Sam Warren (Kentland, Ind./South Newton) represented the Beacons on the MVC All-Tournament Team, announced as the tournament came to its conclusion Tuesday evening.

 

Warren tied for team-high honors in Valpo’s semifinal match against Drake with 10 kills, her 15th double-figure effort of the season and the ninth time she paced the team in the category. She also tallied five blocks, her fifth time this year with five or more rejections.

 

The All-Tournament Team honor was the second of the season for Warren and the fifth of her career.
