LAKELAND, Fla.—The women’s tennis team was defeated by Judson University by a score of 5-2 on Wednesday morning.
The combination of Sharienne Ricardo and Angelique Myrtil continued to impress at no. 1 doubles as they collected their team-high third win in doubles play this season.
Heading into singles competition the Fire trailed the Eagles 2-1.
Myrtil also notched a win in singles play by beating Irina Iacob of Judson in straight sets 6-1, 6-2. The freshman moved to 5-5 in individual contests on the year with the victory.
