#1 Bethel men’s soccer shuts out William Woods in Missouri

The Bethel Pilots Men’s Soccer team (3-0-1) won the first-ever meeting with the William Woods Owls (1-3-0) by scoring 3-0 in Fulton, Mo.

Luan Bressy scored his first goal of the season unassisted in the 70th minute to break the silence of the first half.

Bressy assisted Piero Sabroso in the 80th minute and gave the Pilots the 2-0 lead, and nine minutes later, Alex Murillo scored his first career goal in the 89th minute to seal the Pilots’ third win of the season.

Overall, the Pilots dominated possession with 16 shots, seven on line, and 10 corners compared to the Owl’s five shots, three on net, and three corners.

Mathis Neuhaus had two saves for the Pilots in his second shutout of the season with a record of 3-0-1.
