2024-25 NAIA Men’s Volleyball Coaches Top 15 Poll – No. 1

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Master’s (Calif.) and Saint Xavier (Ill.) are the top two in the latest NAIA Men’s Volleyball Coaches’ Top 15 Rating and are the only two teams to remain at the same rank as the previous rating. Cornerstone (Mich.) made the biggest move from No. 13 to No. 6. Lawrence Tech (Mich.) followed with a six-spot jump to No. 3. Mount Mercy (Iowa), Hope Internationa (Calif.) and St. Thomas (Fla.) joined the Top 15 this week.

Rating Methodology:

  • The rating was rated by a panel of head coaches. There are two coaches representing each of the conferences/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated groups.
  • The Top 15 is determined by a points system based on how each rater rates the best teams. A team receives 20 points for each first-place vote, 19 for second-place, 18 for third-place and so on through the list.
  • The highest and lowest ratings for each team (a non-rating is considered a low rating) are removed. The team’s rating will be recalculated with an additional point added to each team for every ballot (including discounted ballots) that the team appears on.
  • Teams that receive only one point on the ballot are not considered “receiving votes”.
