IRVING, Texas (Jan. 6, 2025) – Luke Lehnen, the 2024 NFF Campbell Trophy® Finalist from North Central College (IL) who only lost two college games in 59 college starts, concluded his career with a second national title Sunday night, leading the Cardinals to a 41-25 win over Mount Union (Ohio) in the Amos Alonzo Stagg Bowl at Shell Energy Stadium in Houston.

With Lehnen under center, the Cardinals also won the Division III National Championship in 2022, and they appeared in the title game in 2021 and 2023, finishing as the national runner-up in each of those seasons. Lehnen, who was named the game’s MVP, concluded his career as the NCAA’s all-divisions leader in career passing efficiency (211.9) and touchdowns responsible for (213 with 162 passing and 51 rushing). The previous record for touchdowns was 190, and his 162 passing touchdowns tied the all-time NCAA mark.
