2025 NAIA Baseball GoRout Coaches’ Top 25 – No. 1

Tennessee Wesleyan, the preseason No. 1, earned three first-place votes, and Southeastern (Fla.) picked up the remaining first-place consideration. The Fire moved up eight spots in to the top 10, but the top 10’s biggest mover was Houston-Victoria (Texas) at No. 10, now 19-2 and in the top 10 after receiving votes in the fall.

Georgia Gwinnett and Cumberlands (Ky.) round out the top five, and two teams – Ottawa (Kan.) and The Master’s (Calif.) – gathered their first votes of the season, appearing in the Top 25.

Rating Methodology

  • The rating was voted upon by a panel of head coaches representing each of the NAIA’s baseball conferences.
  • The Top 25 is determined by a points system based on how each rater’s 30-team ballot. A team receives 30 points for each first-place vote, 29 for second-place and so on through the list.
  • The highest and lowest ranking for each team (a non-rating is considered a low rating) is removed, and the team’s ranking will be recalculated with an additional point added to each team for every ballot (including discounted ballots) that the teams appear on.
  • Teams that receive only one point on the ballot are not considered “receiving votes”.
