2025 Women’s Volleyball Coaches Poll Released
Head coaches for women’s volleyball in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) have selected defending regular season and tournament champion, Aquinas, as the preseason favorite for the 2025 season. The Saints earned seven of 11 first-place votes and 113 points to secure the top spot. Indiana Tech came in second with 109 points and two first-place votes, while Cornerstone was close behind in third with 105 points and the remaining two first-place votes.

Aquinas hopes to build on a historic 2024 season in which they went a perfect 18-0 in WHAC play and finished 40-3 overall. Their regular season title was the program’s first since 2018, and their tournament title was their first ever. Aquinas advanced to the NAIA final site, where their season concluded in pool play. The Saints return a pair of first-team All-WHAC honorees.

Champions of the 2023 regular season and tournament, Indiana Tech, checks in at second in the poll. Indiana Tech returns seven contributors from last season and bolsters the roster with a strong core of newcomers as they look to make another run at a conference title. The Warriors were 27-11 overall and 16-2 in WHAC play in 2024 and represented the conference at the NAIA National Championship Opening Round.

The 2022 regular season and tournament champions, Cornerstone, check in at third place after a 20-11 record (12-6 WHAC) in 2024. The Golden Eagles return all-conference talent from last season and look to build on a solid class of newcomers.

Poll Methodology: Each WHAC head coach ranks teams 1-11 depending on their predicted finish for the 2025 season. First place votes are worth 11 points, second are worth 10 and so on.

The season gets underway on August 22 with WHAC play starting on September 3.
