Offensive Player of the Week
Heath Simmons, Saint Francis
Sr., QB, Hartford, Ky. (Ohio County HS)
- Completed 24 of 32 passes for 260 yards in Saint Francis’ 52-14 win over St. Francis (Ill.)
- Threw three TDs with no interceptions in the win
- Earns his first career MSFA Offensive Player of the Week award
Defensive Player of the Week
Nate Talhelm, Saint Francis
Jr., LB, Indianapolis, Ind. (Franklin Central HS)
- Made a team-high 11 tackles in the Cougars’ 52-14 win over St. Francis (Ill.)
- Registered a half-sack for a loss of four yards
- Earns his first career MSFA Defensive Player of the Week award
Special Teams Player of the Week
Seeger DeGayner, Concordia
Jr., KR, Grand Blanc, Mich. (Linden HS)
- Returned a kickoff 100 yards for a TD in the Cardinals’ 41-24 win over St. Ambrose
- Collected a total of 253 kick return yards, averaging 63.3 per return
- Became the Cardinals’ all-time leader in KR yards, and earns his second career MSFA Special Teams Player of the Week award
