  2. Adams (5-0): Josh Johnson chipped in seven points in the Eagles’ 69-49 win over Kalamazoo Loy Norrix.
  3. Goshen (4-0): Braxton Cline added 10 points in the RedHawks’ 53-46 win over No. 8 (Class 4A) Northridge.
  4. Northridge (6-1): Karsyn Rumfelt tallied nine points in the Raiders’ 77-43 win over Washington.
  5. Penn (4-1): Ben Murphy poured in 18 points in the Kingsmen’s 81-66 win over Michigan City.
  6. Marian (4-2): Andre Wells recorded 23 points in the Knights’ 57-33 win over Portage Central.
  7. Saint Joseph (3-2): Elijah King’s 18 points lifted the defending Class 3A state champion Huskies to an 85-57 win over Paw Paw.

HONORABLE MENTION

Elkhart (4-2): Semarcus Gipson ended with 12 points in the Lions’ 55-31 win over Tippecanoe Valley.

Wawasee (4-3): Kaden Andrew totaled 10 points in the Warriors’ 42-33 win over Warsaw.

MAKING WAVES

Mishawaka (2-3): Le’Jordan Fowler came up with 19 points, including the game-winning basket at the buzzer, for the Cavemen in their 44-43 win over Concord.

New Prairie (2-4): Evan Chelminiak registered four points in the Cougars’ 49-36 win over Oregon-Davis.

NorthWood (3-4): Brogan Farrell managed 11 points in the Panthers’ 48-20 win over Plymouth.

Plymouth (2-4): Kyleb Ellery notched 15 points in the Pilgrims’ 40-26 win over Wabash.

WORK IN PROGRESS

Concord (1-4): Reese Breveard mustered nine points for the Minutemen against Mishawaka.

Warsaw (1-4): Sam Lara amassed 14 points in the Tigers’ 43-30 loss to Carroll (Fort Wayne).

Washington (1-4): Mike Stuckey’s 25 points were not enough in the Panthers’ 83-57 loss to Benton Harbor.

COMING ATTRACTIONS

Fort Wayne Snider (2-3) at Riley (4-0) (Tuesday): The Wildcats are allowing 43.3 points per game, while Snider is averaging 57.2 points a contest.

Niles (4-4) at Mishawaka (2-3) (Tuesday): The Cavemen have won three of the previous five meetings against Niles.

Penn (4-1) vs. Hamilton Southeastern (2-3) (Friday at Homestead): The Kingsmen are averaging 69.8 points per contest, while Hamilton Southeastern is allowing 63.8 points a game.

Saint Joseph (3-2) vs. Mount Vernon (Fortville) (6-1) (Friday at Homestead): The Huskies are surrendering 56 points a contest, while Mount Vernon (Fortville) is scoring 59.4 points per game.

Chesterton (5-0) at Elkhart (4-2) (Saturday): The Trojans have not started 6-0 since the 2020-21 season, while Elkhart can equal last year’s win (5-17) total with a victory.
