7th ranked Bethel Men’s Soccer selected to host Opening Round of NAIA Tournament

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced on Thursday the group of hosts for the 2022 NAIA Men’s Soccer National Championship First & Second Rounds.

Selections of each site were made in part by the NAIA Men’s Soccer National Championship Selection Committee. The committee is comprised of head coaches and administrators from around the nation. Selections take into account geography, facilities and host qualification. The application deadline was on November 1, 2022, which included having a valid facility certification.

Each of the 10 sites will feature four teams with First Round play will beginning on November 17th. After a single day of rest, the bracket championship will be played with the winner of each bracket will advance to the final site in Decatur, Ala. The 64th Annual Men’s Soccer National Championship will be played at Jack Allen Soccer Complex from November 29th to December 5th.

These institutions have combined for 80 appearances in the NAIA National Championships, and boast 101 wins, 76 losses, and 11 ties. They have won four Red Banners, seven runner-up finishes, and five times finished third at the National Championships.
