Big Ten Men’s and Women’s Soccer Tournaments Return to Grand Park
Tournaments run first and second week of November
ROSEMONT, Ill. — The Big Ten men’s and women’s soccer tournament semifinal and championship games will return to Grand Park in Westfield, Indiana, for the 2018 season, the conference announced Thursday.
As the tournaments return to Grand Park, it serves as the third year for a neutral-site tournament for the men and the second year for the women.
“The Big Ten is excited to return to Grand Park for Men’s and Women’s Soccer Tournament. Grand Park has been an excellent host for this event,” said Big Ten Associate Commissioner for Sports Administration Wendy Fallen. “We are confident that our students and coaches will continue to have terrific experiences.”
The women’s tournament is slated to begin Oct. 28 with the top four seeds hosting the quarterfinal games on campus. The tournament will move to Grand Park for the two semifinal games on Friday, Nov. 2 and the championship game on Sunday, Nov. 4.
The men’s tournament will start with quarterfinal games being played on campus Nov. 3-4, following the same format as the women. Play will commence at Grand Park on Friday, Nov. 9 with two semifinals and will conclude on Sunday, Nov. 11 with the championship game.
One-day General Admission tickets will be available for purchase, presale and on-site, for $12 for adults, $7 for youth, high school and college students with school ID and $1 for veterans and active military. A daily Family Pack, two parents and children, will be available (presale only) for $24. Children five and under will be admitted for $1.
