SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – It was a tale of two halves Wednesday, as Indiana Wesleyan men’s soccer fell late to No. 21 Spring Arbor, 3-2. SAU and IWU netted two goals apiece in the first half and headed into the second half tied 2-2. Roderic Green would net his second goal of the evening in the 67th minute, giving the Cougars the 3-2 victory.

SANFORD PERSPECTIVE

“I think the whole team is feeling a bit weird because we are proud of our effort but extremely frustrated. We controlled the game when things were even but you can’t spot SAU a man advantage. With that being said, I am proud of the guy’s effort, attitude, and response. We’ll get it right. Just needs to be soon.”

NEXT TIME ON THE PITCH

  • IWU heads to Saint Francis on Saturday for a 7 p.m. start.
