Fire Women’s Golf 13th in Preseason Top 25

KANSAS CITY, Mo.—The Southeastern University women’s golf team checked in at 13th in the 2019 NAIA Preseason Coaches’ Top 25, released this evening by the national office.

The Fire begin the 2019-20 season where they finished the 2018-19 season. SEU placed 13th at the NAIA National Championship, which was its second-best finish at the championship in program history.

SEU returns all five starters from last year’s team, which includes two-time All-American Ana Uribe.

The Sun Conference is well-represented with five teams in the Top 25, including two of the top three.

The Fire take the course for the first time on September 15 at Oldfield Golf Club in Okatie, S.C.
