Elijah Kerr Named NCCAA National Student-Athlete of the Week
Recorded a goal and led a defensive shutout from left back position
GREENVILLE, S.C. –The National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Student-Athletes of the Week were announced on Monday, recognizing the top athletes from the week of August 19-24. Men’s soccer senior Elijah Kerr earned the first Men’s Soccer Defensive National Student-Athlete of the Week honors for the 2019 season.
Kerr led a defense that allowed only one shot-on-goal and three shots total in the shutout victory over Cornerstone. He also had an impact offensively, scoring the team’s first goal of the season. It is the second National Student-Athlete of the Week honor for the Pilots in 2019-20 and the first accolade for defender from Boca Raton, Florida.
