#16 Chargers Fall on the Road

 

Muskegon, MI – Ancilla College dropped its first Michigan Community College Athletic Association men’s basketball game Monday night as they fell to Muskegon community college 91-81 on the road. The game was a make-up game from bout two weeks ago and was played at 5:30 p.m. to accommodate the women’s teams.

 

Isiah James led the Chargers (9-3, 3-1) with 21 points, while Clark Wells had 14 off the bench.  Rico Swanson, Jr. finished with 10 points and 12 rebounds, while Courtney Shorter grabbed 10 caroms. Ancilla had 18 turnovers, while Muskegon only had 5.

 

The Jayhawks (10-4, 5-0) are the only undefeated team in the western segment of the schedule. They were led by Jermayne Golidy with 30 points and Kylan Shipp with 24.

 

Ancilla returns home on Wednesday when they host Lake Michigan College at 7:30 p.m. at the LifePlex in Plymouth.
