CENTIER BANK PERFORMER OF THE WEEK – 9-3-17

The Centier Bank Performers of the Week are Portage senior quarterback Anthony Maceo and Plymouth junior running back Blake Reed.

In the Indians’ 40-14 Duneland Conference opening victory against Lake Central on Friday, Maceo had another tremendous game with 267 yards rushing and five touchdowns on just 11 carries. In addition to having scoring runs of 38, 25, 13, 80, and 34 yards, he also completed 1 of-4 passes for 21 yards.

In the Rockies’ 42-7 win at Warsaw in Friday’s Northern Lakes Conference opener, Reed scampered 23 times for 223 yards with touchdown runs of 92 and nine yards. For the contest, Plymouth rolled up 402 total yards, compared to just 78 yards for the Tigers.

The Centier Bank Performers of the Week is open to any male-female student athlete who participates in any IHSAA sanctioned sport and whose school is in the Centier Bank geographic area.
