PLAYING FOR A CHAMPIONSHIP

Jimtown (9-2):  Landon Buchanan had 13 carries for 106 yards with a touchdown in the Jimmies’ 22-3 win over Glenn.

Marian (8-3): Kapafule Lusanga rambled 30 times for 142 yards and three touchdowns in the Knights’ 29-0 blanking of No. 7 (Class 3A) Tippecanoe Valley.

Mishawaka (8-2): Chase Gooden accounted for 20 rushes for 196 yards with three scores in the No. 7 (Class 5A) Cavemen’s 35-7 win over No. 6 (Class 5A) Concord.

New Prairie (9-2): Brock Sinka ran 10 times for 56 yards and a touchdown in the Cougars’ 23-7 win over Culver Academy

Northridge (7-4): Kade Sainz had a pair of touchdown catches in the Raiders’ 35-21 win over Columbia City.

Penn (5-5): Alec Hardrict racked up 45 carries for 196 yards with three touchdowns in the Kingsmen’s 21-7 win over Elkhart.

Saint Joseph (4-7): Austin Futa returned an interception 12 yards for a score in the Indians’ 21-0 blanking of Kankakee Valley.

Warsaw (7-2): Jayce Sawyer ran 18 times for 45 yards in the Tigers’ 26-22 loss to Concord.

Adams (4-7): Gavin Pulling tallied 18 rushes for 32 yards in the Eagles’ 42-0 loss to No. 10 (Class 5A) Michigan City.

Bremen (7-4): Lance Moser raced 22 times for 130 yards in the Lions’ 14-6 loss to LaVille.

Concord (9-2): Titus Hackworth scampered 13 yards for a touchdown for the Minutemen against Mishawaka.

Elkhart (5-5): Gavin Houser rambled for 55 yards with a score for the Lions against Penn.

Glenn (5-5): Justin Henry booted a 32-yard field goal for the Falcons against Jimtown.

STAY TUNED

Chesterton (7-3) at Penn (5-5) (Class 6A Sectional 2): The Trojans have never won a sectional title, while Penn’s last crown came in 2017.

Warsaw (7-2) at Carroll (Fort Wayne) (Class 6A Sectional 3): The Tigers’ lone sectional championship came in 2019, while Carroll’s previous title was in 2014.

Michigan City (7-3) at Mishawaka (8-2) (Class 5A Sectional 10); The Wolves have not claimed a sectional crown since 2018, while Mishawaka is going its fourth title in a row.

Saint Joseph (4-7) at New Prairie (9-2): (Class 4A Sectional 18): The Indians’ last title came in 2015, while New Prairie is trying for its first championship since 2019.

Leo (11-0) at Northridge (7-4) (Class 4A Sectional 19): The Lions’ previous championship was in 2011, while Northridge’s only crown came in 2014.

Jimtown (9-2) at Marian (8-3) (Class 3A Sectional 26): The Jimmies are in pursuit of their first sectional trophy since 2014, while Marian is going for its seventh straight crown.
