Four players scored in double figures behind 19 points from junior forward Mackenzie Holmes and shot 54.7 percent from the floor. Indiana also set a program-record for assists in a NCAA game with 23.
  • The Hoosiers are making their eighth NCAA Tournament and third-consecutive appearance. IU holds a 7-7 record all-time and are most recently coming off an Elite Eight appearance in the 2021 NCAA Tournament.
  • Indiana is seeking back-to-back Sweet Sixteen appearances in the modern format (featuring 64 or 68 teams). The Hoosiers got past Belmont in the 2021 NCAA Tournament in San Antonio.
  • With the win on Saturday, Ali Patberg and Grace Berger became the program’s all-time winningest players with 89 victories. They surpass former teammate Keyanna Warthen who recorded 88 wins in her four seasons.
  • Indiana advanced to the Big Ten Tournament championship game for the first time in 20 years last week as the No. 5 seed. Along the way, it defeated Rutgers, Maryland and top-seed Ohio State. Graduate student guard Nicole Cardaño-Hillary and senior guard Grace Berger each earned a spot on the all-tournament team.
  • Berger earned a pair of All-American honors this week from the Associated Press and USBWA. She earned spots on the honorable mention teams and has now earned four All-American honors in her IU career.
