KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Capping a career that saw over 1,600 career points, two conference tournament titles, and postseason appearances in three straight seasons, IU South Bend senior Dylan Allen can now add All-American to his list of accomplishments. Allen was named to the NAIA All-American Third Team, announced on Thursday, becoming the second NAIA All-American in IU South Bend program history.
Allen finished his Titan career earlier this month, finishing with 1,643 points, second-most in program history. The guard led IUSB to back-to-back CCAC Tournament titles in 2020 and 2021, and three consecutive NAIA Tournament appearances from 2020-22, the first-ever NAIA Tournament berths for the Titans.
Allen averaged 14.4 points per game for IU South Bend, along with 4.0 rebounds and a team-leading 2.9 assists each night. The senior was a key player on the defensive end of the floor as well, finishing 22nd nationally in the NAIA with 63 steals on the year.
