CL Baseball and Softball Take 16 CoSIDA Academic All-District Nods

JACKSON, Mich. – The Crossroads League placed 16 student-athletes on the 2022 CoSIDA NAIA Baseball and Softball Academic All-District Teams on Thursday. Taylor topped the league with a combined 10 awards, while Mount Vernon Nazarene took three honors, Indiana Wesleyan grabbed two and Grace added one.

On the baseball list, the Crossroads League secured seven total honors out of 25 available spots from Districts I and II. The number increased to nine-of-26 awards claimed by CL softball student-athletes from those two districts.

The 16 student-athletes will advance to the ballot for CoSIDA Academic All-America honors, which are set to be announced in early June.

CoSIDA Academic All-District and All-America honors are voted on by CoSIDA members from around the nation after being nominated by their institution’s Sports Information Department.
