Bethel Men’s and Women’s Golf earns bids to NCCAA National Tournament

Woodbury, Minn. — The Women’s Golf team takes their eighth straight region crown as the Lady Pilots sweep the North Central Region. Maria Victori a 74-74 earning medalist honors for the first time in her collegiate career and earning a North Central Region player of the year honor. Bethel won the tournament by 82 strokes and will play for a back-to-back NCCAA title.

Woodbury, Minn. — The Men’s Golf team punches their ticket to the NCCAA National tournament after shooting a 314-295 at the NCCAA North Central Region Championship. Jonah Kumfer shot a 67 on day two tying the school record set in 2011 by Griffyn Carpenter. BU trailed the University of Northwestern by 11 shots in day one before winning the tournament by 11 shots. Kumfer earned the North Central Region Player of the Year and John Fischer won the North Central Region coach of the year.
