IUSB improves to 7-0 with home win over St.X

SOUTH BEND, Ind.- The Indiana University South Bend Titans (7-0, 2-0 CCAC) defeated the Saint Xavier University Cougars (3-3, 2-1 CCAC) by a score of 78-66. Wednesday’s victory improves the Titans unbeaten record to 7-0.

IU South Bend was led by guard Katie Gard who finished with 26 points, four steals, and three rebounds. Gard shot a perfect 7-7 from the free throw line while also finishing shooting 60% from beyond the three point line.

Emma Fisher finished three assists shy of double-double status with 11 points and seven assists. Fisher also tallied five rebounds and three steals in the Wednesday night contest.

Other Titans in double figures include Maddie Gard who finished with 14 points and Rachael Robards who finished with 10 points.

The Indiana University South Bend Titans return to action on Saturday, November 19th, as they travel to Grand Rapids, Michigan, to take on Aquinas College at 2:00 PM.
