CL Volleyball Earns 17 CSC Academic All-District Honors

 

JACKSON, Mich. – The Crossroads League recently placed 17 student-athletes on the 2022 College Sports Communicators NAIA Volleyball Academic All-District Team. Grace, Mount Vernon Nazarene and Taylor led the way with four honors each, while Indiana Wesleyan claimed three and Goshen took two.

 

The CSC Academic All-District award is given to student-athletes with a 3.50 cumulative grade-point average and at least one full year at their current institution. Individuals must have been nominated by their Sports Information Department, must have reached sophomore status academically and must have played in at least half of their team’s current season as a primary contributor.

 

Each volleyball team is allowed up to four nominations, with every CSC Academic All-District recipient advancing to the ballot for CSC Academic All-America honors. Those awards will be voted on by members of CSC from around the nation and will be announced on December 21.
