Taylor Tops CL Baseball Preseason Poll

 

JACKSON, Mich. – The Crossroads League announced its 2023 Baseball Preseason Poll on Wednesday, as voted on by the league’s head coaches.

 

No. 24 Taylor was tabbed as the early favorites to claim the regular season title after finishing one game back of Mount Vernon Nazarene for the league crown in 2022 and winning the Crossroads League Tournament. TU posted a league-leading overall record of 41-18 last season and was followed in the poll by Huntington, RV Indiana Wesleyan, MVNU and Marian in the projected top-five.

 

The 2023 Crossroads League schedule is set to open the week of February 27 through March 4, with the Crossroads League Tournament planned for May 3 through 8 at Huntington University’s Forest Glen Park.
