Bracket Revealed for the 2023 Avista NAIA Baseball World Series

KANSAS CITY – The field for the 2023 Avista NAIA Baseball World Series was revealed on Friday after the week’s opening round action ran its course. In the wake of its 3-0 performance and an Upland Bracket Opening Round title, No. 19 Taylor (40-15) has secured the seventh of 10 seeds at the 66th Annual Baseball National Championship set to unfold between May 26 and June 2 in Lewiston, Idaho.

The Trojans will square off against the 10-seeded MidAmerican Nazarene (34-26) in the World Series’ first game on Friday, May 26, at 11:35 am ET. No. 3 Georgia Gwinnett (50-6) will then be waiting to take on the winner of Friday’s first game on Saturday, May 27, at 6:05 pm ET.

The 2023 NAIA Baseball World Series bracket is a 10-team, double-elimination bracket that was seeded from #1 – #10. The World Series bracket seeding was based on the original seed of each team as determined by the NAIA Baseball National Selection Committee.

The NAIA Baseball National Selection Committee placed all 46 qualifying Opening Round teams for the NAIA Baseball National Championship in rank order by seed (#1 – #46) prior to being placed in the ten Opening Round sites. As Opening Round winners are determined and advance to the Final Site, teams were placed in the World Series bracket in rank order according to their original overall seed.
