MISHAWAKA, Ind. — The Bethel Pilots Women’s Soccer team (4-1-0) got another home win on Morey Field vs. the Lourdes Gray Wolves (1-1-0) on a perfect Saturday afternoon.
The Pilots scored early with a Jordan Mihut cross from the right side and found Audrey Lerch in the box for a one-touch shot that went bottom left to kickstart the match.
Jordan Mihut had another successful cross into #2, who headed it in for a 2nd goal for the pilots in the 57th minute of the game.
The Pilots’ defense held strong throughout the game, only allowing four shots total and four corner kicks.
It was a physical game as Lourdes accumulated eight fouls, and Bethel had six. Four yellow cards were also given out, with two going to each team.
Leena Thomas had four shots, and two of them were on goal. Jordan Mihut played well, as she had two assists on the day.
