WESTFIELD, Ind. — The NAIA first-ranked Bethel Pilots Men’s Soccer team (5-1-1) lost a heartbreaker to the NAIA fifth-ranked Lindsey Wilson Blue Raiders (5-1-0) by a score of 3-0.

The Blue Raiders took control of possession early in the match but put up their first goal in the 11th minute from Sebastian Tregarthen after three straight rejected shots.

In the Pilots’ attack, they struggled to find open looks while targeting Luan Bressy in front of the net but could not connect on corners or crosses.

Tim Noeding put up a couple of shots in the first half after the Pilots began to take back possession but could not get any through.

Tregarthen scored their second goal in the 54th minute to grow their lead, and Samuel Odame netted the third goal to take the top-five matchup 3-0.

Tim Noeding had the most chances for the Pilots by putting up five shots, with three of them on goal, and Mathis Neuhaus had two saves on the night.
