Adams 29 points and 13 rebounds lead Holy Cross women past St. Ambrose

Notre Dame, Ill.  The Holy Cross women’s basketball team hosted St. Ambrose University this afternoon in a Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference matchup. St. Ambrose was able to score the opening basketball, but the Holy Cross defense would hold them scoreless for the next six minutes of play to take a 13-2 lead with a little over four minutes remaining in the first.

After 10 minutes of action, Holy Cross lead 31-13. The Saints would build on their lead in the second quarter and command a 48-27 lead at halftime. In the third and fourth quarters, the Holy Cross offense would excel as the Saints would take down the Fighting Bees 94-65. With the win, Holy Cross moves to at 5-4 and 2-1 while SAU moves to 0-5 and 0-3.
