No.22 IUSB Women’s Basketball rolls to 13th straight win

SOUTH BEND, Ind.- The Indiana University South Bend Titans (13-0, 5-0 CCAC) defeated Great Lakes Christian College (4-9, 0-0) by a final score 105-65.

Every single Titan that entered Monday’s contest scored, led by fifth year seniors Maddie Gard and Katie Gard who finished with 19 points.

Maddie Gard’s 19 points came on better than 87% shooting from the floor while just missing one that she attempted from the floor.

Gard knocked down five of the six free throws that she attempted while playing in just 20 minutes of action.

Katie Gard’s 19 points came on 70% shooting from the field while knocking down three of the four three point field goals that she attempted.

Next in line in scoring for the Titans was junior guard Sullivan Kessler who finished with a career high 17 points.

Kessler’s 17 points came on better than 50% shooting from the field while knocking down both three point field goals that she attempted and five of the eight free throws that she attempted.

The Indiana University South Bend Titans return to action on Saturday, January 6th, when they host the Calumet College of St. Joseph Crimson Wave at 1:00 PM in the Student Activities Center.
