MISHAWAKA, Ind. — The Bethel Pilots (7-11, 2-9) fell to #14 Indiana Tech (18-4, 9-3) in Goodman Gymnasium 3-0 Tuesday evening.

Indiana Tech grabbed a slow and steady lead in the first set, but Bethel was only a couple of points behind until an IT run made it 18-12.

Kills from Tiago Silva and Afonso Matias helped push the Pilots to a late set run but fell short as IT won 25-21.

Bethel had an 8-7 lead in the second but was taken from them soon after. Bethel made it close at the end with a kill from Andrin Broder to make it 23-22, but IT snatched the final two points to win the second set.

Similar to the first two sets, IT maintained a steady lead and closed the Pilots out 3-0 in Goodman.

Andrin Broder led the team with ten kills.

Ege Gul recorded 13 assists, and McGwire Eigenrauch recorded 11.
