SOUTH BEND, Ind.- The Indiana University South Bend Titans women’s basketball team concluded their upcoming recruiting class, signing five future Titans for the upcoming 2024-2025 season.
The first Titan to make her announcement official was Sydney Jerrells from Linton Stockton High School. The three time SWIAC all conference selection was named IBCA Small School All-State in 2024 and IBCA All-State Honorable Mention in 2023. When asked why she chose IUSB, Jerrells said, “I chose IU South Bend because I wanted to be a part of another successful program.”
The next player to commit was Keylee Hudson from Eastern Greene High School. Hudson finished her high school career as the all time leading scorer at Eastern Greene High School, tallying 1,110 points over her four years. Keylee was named SWIAC all conference in all four seasons as a high schooler as well as being named IBCA Small School All-State in 2024, Herald Times Player of the Year in 2023, and top 60 in the senior workout in 2024. Hudson had the following comments on her commitment to IUSB, “I chose IU South Bend because it felt like the perfect fit, where my love for basketball could flourish alongside a supportive community and endless opportunities to grow.”
Another future Titan to make her announcement official was Kenzie Fulks from Bethesda Christian High School. Fulks was named IBCA Small School All-State in 2024 as well as top 60 in the senior workout in 2024 while finishing with 1,728 points over her high school career. Fulks had the following comments about her commitment “I chose IU South Bend because the girls made me feel welcome and a sense of home.”
The next player to sign with the Titans was Aubrie Booker from Center Groove High School. A four year starter at Center Groove, Booker was a two year team captain while also being named IBCA Senior All-State Honorable Mention 2024 as well as top 60 in the senior workout in 2024. Booker made the following remarks about her decision, “I chose IU South Bend because when I visited I experienced a culture that aligned really well with who I am and what I stand for. I am excited to play basketball for a coach and team who genuinely care about each other.”
The last of the high school recruits to sign with the Titans was Bradie Chambers from Linton Stockton High School. Chambers finished her high school career with 1,321 points while earning several accolades including SWIAC All Conference (3x), IGBRR 2A 1st Team All-State in 2024, Prep Girls Hoops 2A 1st Team All-State in 2024, ICGSA 1st Team All-State in 2024, IBCA Small School All-State in 2024, HBCA All-Star in 2024 and top 60 in the senior workout in 2024. Chambers had the following to say regarding her decision, “I chose IU South Bend because of the family culture of their program. Going there will provide me with a path to successfully prepare for my future while enjoying basketball with great people.”
