FABULOUS FIVE

  1. Concord (4-0): Bo Brunner completed 9-of-14 for 127 yards with a touchdown in the No. 5 (Class 5A) Minutemen’s 34-17 win over Northridge.
  2. Mishawaka (3-1): Brady Hooten found the end zone in the No. 5 (Class 4A) Cavemen’s 35-19 win over No. 10 (Class 4A) NorthWood.
  3. Penn (3-1): Joey DePalma returned an interception 35 yards for a score in the Kingsmen’s 44-6 win over Washington.
  4. Warsaw (3-1): Ethan Egolf hauled in a 35-yard touchdown reception in the No. 6 (Class 5A) Tigers’ 56-6 win over Wawasee.
  5. New Prairie (3-1): Zac Henrich accounted for 16 carries for 131 yards and two scores in the No. 9 (Class 4A) Cougars’ 48-6 win over Adams.

HONORABLE MENTION

Elkhart (3-1): Michael Brown raced 32 yards for a score in the Lions’ 35-2 win at Riley.

Marian (2-2): Kaleb Johnson came up with a 73-yard interception return for a score in the Knights’ 27-0 win over Saint Joseph.

NorthWood (2-2): Deondray Monroe caught a seven-yard touchdown pass for the Panthers against Mishawaka.

Saint Joseph (2-2): AJ LaSane was guilty of three interceptions for the Huskies against Marian.

Tippecanoe Valley (3-1): Gage Overbay converted a 34-yard field goal in the No. 7 (Class 3A) Vikings’ 26-3 loss at Knox.

GETTING BETTER

Jimtown (2-2): Owen Glass racked up nine tackles in the Jimmies’ 22-14 win over Glenn.

Knox (2-2): Jake Conroy came up with a two-yard touchdown run as well as a two-point conversion for the Redskins against Tippecanoe Valley.

LaVille (2-2): Brayden Schwitz’s six-yard touchdown reception with 36 seconds left helped the Landers rally for a 13-12 win over Bremen.

Plymouth (2-2): Finn Holm accumulated 22 carries for 136 yards on the ground with two touchdowns in the Rockies’ 31-3 win over Goshen.

WORK IN PROGRESS

Adams (0-4): Quincy To’oto’o had a one-yard touchdown run for the Eagles against New Prairie.

Bremen (2-2): Luke Kincaid caught a 38-yard pass for a score for the Lions against LaVille.

Glenn (1-2): Blake Wright came up with 26 carries for 158 yards with two touchdowns for the Falcons against Jimtown.

Goshen (0-4): Marco Macias booted a 33-yard field goal for the RedHawks against Plymouth.

Northridge (1-3): Derek Sherwood tallied 73 yards on the ground for the Raiders against Concord.

Riley (1-2): Teon Wadley came up with 15 carries for 44 yards for the Wildcats against Elkhart.

Washington (0-4): Naesaen Ward hauled in a six-yard touchdown pass for the Panthers against Penn.

Wawasee (0-4); Kassidy Carter scampered for 40 yards for the Warriors against Warsaw.

LOOKING FORWARD

Bremen (2-2) at Jimtown (2-2): The Jimmies have won the last seven contests against Bremen.

Marian (2-2) at Penn (3-1): Over their last three meetings, the Kingsmen have outscored Marian, 118-16.

New Prairie (3-1) at Elkhart (3-1): The Cougars are looking for their third straight win over Elkhart.

Tippecanoe Valley (3-1) at LaVille (2-2): The Vikings had their 12-game regular season winning streak snapped by Knox, while LaVille is in pursuit of its third win in a row.

Warsaw (3-1) at Concord (4-0): The Tigers have taken three of the previous five matchups with Concord.
