FABULOUS FIVE

  1. Concord (6-0): Jack Jewett hauled in a 24-yard touchdown pass in the top-ranked (Class 5A) Minutemen’s 49-0 win over Goshen.
  2. Elkhart (6-1): Connor Dow scored a one-yard touchdown and recovered a fumble in the No. 9 (Class 6A) Lions’ 7-3 win at Penn.
  3. Mishawaka (5-2): Blake Vandenburg converted a pair of field goals for the No. 3 (Class 4A) Cavemen in their 21-13 loss to Warsaw.
  4. Penn (5-2): Dylan DeDario booted a 24-yard field goal for the Kingsmen against Elkhart.
  5. New Prairie (5-2): Harrison Groves found the end zone from two yards out in the Cougars’ 42-28 win over Marian.

HONORABLE MENTION

Knox (5-2): Myles McLaughlin totaled 22 carries for 222 yards with five touchdowns in the Redskins’ 41-28 win at Jimtown.

Plymouth (5-2): Finn Holm accumulated 20 rushes for 92 yards with a score as the Rockies earned their fourth straight win with a 14-10 decision over NorthWood.

Saint Joseph (4-3): Kobby Addo recorded a safety and returned an interception 60 yards for a touchdown in the Huskies’ 29-0 win over Riley.

Tippecanoe Valley (5-2): Brock Derf raced 12 times for 118 yards with three scores in the Vikings’ 31-14 win at Western.

Warsaw (4-3): Tucker Reed galloped 27 yards for a touchdown to help the Tigers past Mishawaka.

GETTING BETTER

Adams (1-6): Carson Bryce ran for 170 yards and a pair of scores as the Eagles ended a 14-game losing streak with a 49-20 decision over Washington.

LaVille (3-4): Cody Allen racked up 17 carries for 95 yards with two touchdowns in the Lancers’ 17-7 win over Glenn.

Northridge (2-5): Judah Hochstetler hauled in nine passes for 163 yards with two scores in the Raiders’ 44-15 win over Wawasee.

WORK IN PROGRESS

Bremen (3-4): Jack Wildauer came up with a touchdown catch in the Lions’ 31-7 loss to Culver Academy.

Glenn (1-5): Austin Pranger snatched an interception for the Falcons against LaVille.

Goshen (0-7): Carter Diaz was 15-of-30 for 86 yards for the RedHawks against Concord.

Marian (3-4): Mitch Fimbel threw for two touchdowns and ran for a third score for the Knights against New Prairie.

Jimtown (4-3): Javen Jackson accounted for pair of touchdown receptions for the Jimmies against Knox.

NorthWood (3-4): Hayden Lechlitner roamed 58 yards for a score for the Panthers against Plymouth.

Riley (2-4): With their setback to Saint Joseph, Phoenyx Clark and the Wildcats have now been held scoreless for nine straight quarters.

Washington (0-7): Kelton Verse came up with a five-yard touchdown run for the Panthers against Adams.

Wawasee (1-6); Dallas Miller hauled in a 66-yard touchdown reception for the Warriors against Northridge.

LOOKING FORWARD

Knox (5-2) at Bremen (3-4): The Redskins are looking to halt a five-game losing streak to Bremen.

Marian (3-4) at Elkhart (6-1): The Knights have taken two of the previous three meetings with Elkhart.

Penn (5-2) at New Prairie (5-2): The Kingsmen are going for their third straight victory over New Prairie.

Plymouth (5-2) at Mishawaka (5-2): The Cavemen have won all five previous matchups against Plymouth.

Warsaw (4-3) at NorthWood (3-4): The Tigers have captured six of the last 10 contests with NorthWood.
