PALOS HEIGHTS, Ill — In the Regional Semi-Final match on November 13, the Bethel Pilots (6-7-6) faced off against the Trinity Christian Trolls (8-6-6) for the NCCAA North-Central Regional Semi-Final falling 3-0.

Trinity Christian took control early in the game, with Litzy Corona scoring in the 21st minute off an assist from Emily Soriaga. Soriaga added another goal in the 38th minute, bringing Trinity’s lead to 2-0 before halftime.

Despite Bethel’s efforts in the second half, including five shots on goal and a hit post by Leila Mojtahedi, the Pilots could not find the back of the net.

Trinity Christian sealed their victory in the 85th minute with a final goal from Madison Tamminga.

The Pilots wait to see if they get an at-large bid to the NCCAA National Tournament at the Austin-Tindall Sports Complex in Kissimmee, Fla. If they do not their season will close with a 6-7-6 record and 0-4-5 in the Crossroads League.
