SOUTH BEND, Ind.- The Indiana University South Bend Titans (11-2, 4-2 CCAC) defeated the Lawrence Tech University Blue Devils (2-13, 0-7 Conf.) by a final score of 103-58 to get back into the win column.

A red hot Titans offense came out of the gates firing in Saturday’s contest, scoring the game first 14 points to take a 14-0 lead halfway through the first quarter. The Titans remained hot, closing out the first quarter on a 15-5 run to take a 29-8 lead going into the second quarter.

Lawrence Tech answered in the second quarter, matching IU South Bend shot for shot, ending the quarter with each team scoring 19 points, still IUSB took a 48-27 lead heading into halftime.

The Blue Devils came out of the locker room on a run, scoring the first five points of the fourth quarter before the Titans closing the half on a 30-17 run of their own to extend their lead to 78-49 heading into the final ten minutes of the game.

The fourth quarter was all Titans as they held Lawrence Tech to just nine points in the quarter on their way to a dominating 103-58 victory.

A well balanced IU South Bend offense saw every player that stepped on the court get into the scoring column, led by standout senior Tenleigh Phelps who finished with a game high 27 points.

Phelps’ 27 points came on nearly 80% shooting as she missed just three shots the entire game while also recording 10 rebounds, good for her third double-double of the season.

Another Titan to flourish in the scoring column was freshman guard Aubrie Booker who finished with 17 points in just 22 minutes of action.

Booker’s 17 points came 7-11 shooting from the field while also gathering a season high of seven rebounds.

Other Titans to finish with double digit points were Kenzie Fulks who finished with 14 and Keylee Hudson who finished with 13.

Fulks career high 14 points came on near perfect shooting (5-6) while converting on all three shots from the arc that she attempted.

Hudson’s 13 points came on 60% shooting from the field (6-10) while also dishing out a career high of six assists in the win.

The Indiana University South Bend Titans return to action on Wednesday, January 8th, when they travel to Chicago, Ill., to take on the Cougars of Saint Xavier University at 6:00 PM ET.
