MISHAWAKA, Ind. –The Lady Pilots (9-10, 2-7) triumphed over the Grace Christian Tigers (3-13, 1-3) in Gates Gymnasium 94-36 Thursday night after weather postponed the game twice.
Olivia Nickerson scored 22 points and four rebounds for the Pilots. She shot 7-11 from the floor and 6-10 on three-point attempts.
Jazmyn Smith posted 12 points for the Pilots and led the team in rebounds (7). Smith hit her season high for field goal percentage, shooting 85.7% from the floor (6-7).
Faith Fleetwood hit two season highs for assists (2) and rebounds (2) and contributed three points for the Pilots.
Mariah Claywell contributed seven points and had six rebounds while shooting 1-2 on three-point attempts.
In the first quarter, the Pilots showcased a strong 11-point lead. Nickerson nailed her first three-pointer (9:35) to put the Pilots on the board.  Jazmyn Smith followed with two layups in the paint, (8:44) and (8:17), to bring the Pilots 9-0.
At 1:23, Hannah Ruddle nailed her first three-pointer of the quarter. The Pilots ended the first quarter up 25-4.
The Pilots continued to dominate at the onset of the second quarter, with five sequential three-pointers. Nickerson had the first two shots beyond the arc (9:14) and (8:22). Kallie Harrison followed with her own at 7:41, assisted by Gracie Lambes.
At 5:17, Ellia Foster recorded a layup in the paint. The Pilots concluded the second quarter up 50-16.
Kicking off the third quarter, Gracie Lambes downed a jump shot at 9:15. At 6:41, Justyce Williams recorded a layup in the paint.
At 1:33, Dominique Stilley recorded a three, assisted by Faith Fleetwood. The Pilots ended the third up 79-24.
At the beginning of the fourth, Jazmyn Smith posted two layups for the Pilots at 9:51 and 9:13. Bethel continued to rack up points, with Isabel Scales putting the final points on the board with a layup at 0:57.
The Pilots continue the Crossroads League season on Saturday, Jan. 25, at 1:00 p.m. in the Gunden Gymnasium to face the Goshen Maple Leafs in the renewal of the US Highway 20 Cup.
