LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Texas swept through Missouri in Southeastern Conference action to remain No. 1 in this week’s 2025 NFCA/GoRout Division I Top 25 Coaches Poll. The Longhorns (37-3), who also maintained their hold on the top spot in the SEC, collected all but one of the 31 first-place votes this week.

Following an 8-0 series-opening win, Texas won a pair of close contests (4-3, 3-1) against the Tigers in Columbia, to keep its one-game lead over No. 2 Oklahoma in conference play. The second-ranked Sooners (34-3) earned a road win at UT Arlington and then topped St. Thomas and UCF at home.

With Florida dropping three games last week and slipping to No. 6, Texas A&M and Oregon moved into the No. 3 and 4 spots with LSU staying at No. 5. The Aggies (34-5) posted three wins last week, including a pair in SEC action at then-No. 16 Georgia, and have won nine straight and 13 of their last 14 contests.

Making its way into the ranking for the first time since the preseason poll is No. 24 Clemson. The Tigers (30-11) reached the 30-win mark after going 2-1 on the road at No. 15 Stanford and have won 11 of their last 13 contests.

The 2025 NFCA/GoRout Division I Top 25 Coaches Poll is voted on by 31 NCAA Division I head coaches with one representing each of the NCAA’s Division I Conferences. Polls will be released Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m. throughout the regular season. Records reflect games played through April 6, 2025.
