Lawrence Tech Repeats as WHAC Men’s Volleyball Tournament Champions

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – For the second consecutive season, Lawrence Tech Men’s Volleyball has claimed the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Men’s Volleyball Tournament title. This marks the second time in conference history that a team has won back-to-back tournament titles. Lawrence Tech is the fifth No. 1 seed in six years to win the championship.

LTU’s Brendon Down had a big day with 15 kills, hitting .522 with five digs. Akram Askoul added nine kills and Mario Cid had seven. Pedro Aguiar had 34 assists. For Lourdes, Vinicius Lopes had 11 kills and Jabar Badarne had seven.

Lawrence Tech earns the conference’s auto bid to the NAIA National Championship which begins on April 29.
