Unity 2030 Fields (Va.) collects 2025 ATEC/NFCA Travel Ball National Coaching Staff of the Year honor

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Virginia Unity 2030 Fields was voted by their peers as the 2025 ATEC/NFCA Travel Ball National Coaching Staff of the Year, the Association announced on Wednesday.

 

Head coach Jason Fields, along with assistant coach Jeremy Holmes, steered Unity to a 90-15-1 record, while dedicating to the development of the players in-game skills and as good people off the field. They collected nine tournament wins with two playing up at the 14U levels, plus a top-six finish at the PGF 12U Super Select Championship. Additionally, Unity posted a third-place showing (tier II) at the Alliance Fastpitch Championship series, and a championship at the USSSA Winter Nationals.

 

Unity 2030 Fields, a representative of Region III, was joined by Lady Dukes NY Select (Region I), Pennsbury Gems 14U National (Region II), Top Gun 18 National (Region IV), Shockwaves National 16U (Region V), Texas Glory (Region VI), Firecrackers IL Ring (Region VII), Midwest Speed 18U National Holt (Region VIII), All American Sports Academy Mortimer 18G (Region IX) and Charge Fastpitch (Region X)  as Travel Ball Regional Coaching Staff of the Year recipients. The national winner is voted on by member head coaches.

Fields and Holmes will be recognized at the NFCA Awards Brunch on Dec. 13 at the 2025 NFCA Convention in Las Vegas.
