MOVING ON

Bremen (6-4): Nic Slusser picked off a pass and returned it 46 yards for a touchdown in the Lions’ 34-0 win over Whiting.

Knox (10-0): Cain Weber accounted for four rushes for 25 yards, a 37-yard reception, six tackles with two for loss, and a quarterback sack in the No. 4 (Class 3A) Redskins’ 50-21 win over Jimtown.

LaVille (6-4): Cole Stafford ran for three touchdowns and caught a pass for a fourth tally in the Lancers’ 35-0 win over Culver.

Marian (3-7): Joe Florkowski raced 52 yards for a touchdown for the Knights who snapped a six-game losing streak with a 56-14 win over River Forest.

Mishawaka (9-1): Alex Demaegd registered four tackles and returned a fumble 10 yards for a score in the No. 2 (Class 4A) Cavemen’s 28-14 win over NorthWood.

Northridge (3-7): Austin Horn totaled 10 rushes for 66 yards and five receptions for 44 yards in the Raiders’ 35-26 win over Wawasee.

Plymouth (4-6): Jose Fernando hauled in four receptions for 68 yards with a touchdown in the Rockies’ 44-23 win over Washington.

Saint Joseph (9-1): David Waite scampered nine times for 31 yards with a touchdown in the No. 7 (Class 4A) Huskies’ 38-6 win against Riley.

FIRST TEST

Adams (4-5): Cayden Keen went 12-of-24 for 71 yards in the Eagles’ 21-0 loss to Elkhart.

Concord (8-1): Camari Jackson registered 12 tackles in the No. 6 (Class 5A) Minutemen’s 45-14 win over Plymouth.

Elkhart (6-3): Kros Jones recorded 17 tackles with seven for loss and 1.5 quarterback sacks against Adams.

Goshen (2-7): Spencer Elliott had 10 catches for 155 yards with a touchdown, ran four times for 19 yards, and tallied 12 tackles in the RedHawks’ 49-24 loss to NorthWood.

Penn (9-0): Mason Biernacki tallied six catches for 96 yards with a score in the No. 5 (Class 6A) Kingsmen’s 38-6 win over Saint Joseph.

Warsaw (6-3): Brody Duncan accounted for 62 yards on the ground with two scores in the Tigers’ 34-19 win over Northridge.

Glenn (2-8): Ayden Smigielski recovered a blocked punt in the end zone for a score in the Falcons’ 42-23 loss to Calumet.

Jimtown (2-8): Tresean Baldwin caught a 19-yard touchdown pass for the Jimmies against Knox.

New Prairie (3-7): Reed Robinson went 5-of-13 for 103 yards with a touchdown and ran 20 times for 34 yards in the Cougars’ 50-14 loss to Hobart.

NorthWood (5-5): Hayden Lechlitner racked up 12 tackles for the Panthers against Mishawaka.

Riley (4-6): Bradford Washington caught five passes for 59 yards and intercepted a pass for the Wildcats against Saint Joseph.

Tippecanoe Valley (7-3): Wes Parker ended with 19 carries for 95 yards with a touchdown and one catch for 24 yards in the No. 7 (Class 3A) Vikings’ 21-6 loss to Angola.

Washington (2-8): Elijah Young connected on a 90-yard touchdown pass to Jaydon Lineberry for the Panthers against Plymouth.

Wawasee (1-9): Johnny Zachary amassed for 12 rushes for 56 yards with two touchdowns, a 25-yard reception for a score, and completed 3-of-6 passes for 42 yards for the Warriors against Northridge.

ON DECK

Calumet (6-4) at Marian (3-7) (Class 3A Sectional 25): The Warriors won their only sectional title in 2020, while Marian had a stretch of six straight championships between 2016 and 2021.

Carroll (Fort Wayne) (6-3) at Elkhart (6-3) (Class 6A Sectional 1): The Chargers are in pursuit of their second straight sectional crown, while Elkhart’s lone championship came in 2020.

Fort Wayne North (5-4) at Goshen (2-7) (Class 5A Sectional 11): The Legends have not won a sectional crown since 1990, while Goshen’s last title took place in 2000.

Griffith (9-1) at Knox (10-0) (Class 3A Sectional 25): The Panthers’ previous sectional title came in 2008, while Knox is going for its fourth consecutive championship,

Kokomo (3-6) at Adams (4-5) (Class 5A Sectional 12): The Wildkats have not celebrated a sectional title since 2022, while Adams has not won a sectional game since 2021.

LaVille (6-4) at North Judson (8-2) (Class 1A Sectional 41): The Lancers’ last sectional championship took place in 2023, while North Judson has claimed four in a row and five in the last six years.

Northridge (3-7) at Saint Joseph (9-1) (Class 4A Sectional 18): The Raiders are going for their first sectional crown since 2022, while Saint Joseph’s last trip to the winner’s circle came in 2015.

Penn (9-0) at Portage (0-9) (Class 6A Sectional 1): The Kingsmen have not started 10-0 since 2016, while Portage last finished 0-10 in 2023.

Plymouth (4-6) at Mishawaka (9-1) (Class 4A Sectional 18): The Rockies’ last sectional championship came in 2015, while Mishawaka is looking for its fourth consecutive title.

Rensselaer Central (8-2) at Bremen (6-4) (Class 2A Sectional 33): The Bombers have not earned a sectional crown since winning the Class 2A state championship in 2014, while Bremen has not earned a sectional title since 2018.

Warsaw (6-3) vs. Concord (8-1) (Class 5A Sectional 11): The Tigers are trying to make it back-to-back sectional championships, while Concord’s last title occurred in 2018.
