KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The NAIA Men’s Basketball Coaches’ Top 25 has a new No. 1 with the Wildcats of Indiana Wesleyan. IWU received six first-place votes in the first regular-season release. Arizona Christian held at second with 11 first-place votes after dropping one game to Georgetown (Ky.), which was ranked No. 3 at the time. Then, Northwestern (Iowa) climbed five spots to No. 3 after receiving one first-place vote this week. 

Four new teams joined the top 25 this week, with Saint Mary (Kan.) coming in at No. 11, marking the largest jump of the week. Oregon Tech joins at No. 19, Columbia (Mo.) now sits at No. 22, followed by Hope International (Calif.) and Montana Western at No. 23 and No. 24, respectively.

The second coaches’ top 25 poll of the season will be released on Wednesday, Nov. 26.
